Gallery Opening - 6th of June 09

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Galerie Ulf Saupe, a new contemporary art gallery located in Berlin-Mitte, in Torstrasse.

For its opening, the gallery will present a selection of works by some of the artists on the upcoming program :

Thomas Bachler, Roberto Cabot, Lars Calmar, Søren Dahlgaard, Georg Dokoupil, René Holm, Peter Klare, Martin y Sicilia, Juan Miguel Pozo, Maria Rubinke, Michael Schirner, Rob Scholte, Peter Skovgaard, Amanda Spawforth, Leif Trenkler and Philip von Mentzingen.

Galerie Ulf Saupe is a continuation of Galerie SCALA, which was founded in 2007 and vacated its space on Friedrichstrasse this past April.

Indepedently or through collaborations, Galerie Saupe aims to present the last research and special projects of emerging and established artists, and devotes its space to original and authentic approaches of classic mediums, like painting, sculpture and photography.
